Overview

Rev4A is a self-hosted product built by a single maintainer, currently in closed beta ahead of a planned open-source (MIT) release. This page explains what data this website collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: this site does not use advertising trackers, does not set profiling cookies, and does not sell your data.

1. Closed-beta form

When you submit the closed-beta access form, we collect the data you enter: your email address (required) and, optionally, your role, what you're building and a social/profile link.

We use that data only to evaluate your request and — if you're a good fit — to contact you about the closed beta. It is stored in the maintainer's private email inbox and is never sold or shared with third parties. Submitting the form constitutes consent to be contacted about the beta.

2. Web Analytics & Speed Insights (Vercel)

This site runs Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These are cookieless, privacy-friendly tools:

• They do not use cookies.
• IP addresses are anonymized and data is aggregated.
• No cross-site or cross-device tracking, no advertising.

They help us understand which pages are visited and how fast they load, so we can improve the site. Because no cookies are set by these tools, no consent banner is required for them.

3. Language preference cookie

The site uses one strictly functional cookie named NEXT_LOCALE to remember your explicit language choice. Its value is either en or it, it lasts up to one year, and it is not used for analytics, advertising or profiling. If the cookie is absent, the site uses your browser's primary language and falls back to English.

4. Hosting & service logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like all web hosts, Vercel keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request time, pages requested) for security, diagnostics and performance. These are operational logs, not used for profiling.

5. Your rights (GDPR / ePrivacy)

If you're in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (mainly the email address you submitted to the beta form). To exercise these rights, contact the maintainer at the address in the section below.

6. Source code & transparency

Rev4A is not yet open source, but it is planned for an MIT release once the closed beta matures — including the code for this website and its tracking configuration, so anyone will be able to verify exactly what it does and does not load. Until then, this policy is the source of truth.
